This is a paid position and will last 12 weeks.
Candidates should be students at Eastern Oregon University in the La Grande area with a demonstrated interest in journalism. This internship at The Observer offers the chance to learn how a newsroom works and build up your professional skills with mentorship from award-winning journalists.
We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated students who are looking to get the most out of their internship experience.
During your internship, you will report and write as members of the newsroom. This position will primarily write about Eastern Oregon University, though the opportunity to expand and write about other topics exists for the right person.
