Client Platform Specialist

 
EOS is seeking a Client Platform Support Specialist to be a key member in a small team at Meta. The role will concentrate on the setup, configuration, and support of various hardware devices (computers, phones, tablets, VR headsets, AR/MR devices). This position is part of the IT organization, so candidates must be passionate about Technology, live customer service and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. A passion for gaming is a plus. 
 

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational requests that come in through the queue
• Support automated solutions using PowerShell, bash scripts, Python
• Support client system management tools (i.e. PC/phone/tablet imaging)
• Administer and maintain mobile device management systems for android and iOS (i.e. ADB/Apple Configurator 2)
• Support mobile device standards, client platforms, and management tools/ processes
• Maintain client hardware standards including client configuration and bleeding edge technology
• Administer enterprise software including deployment and package management
• Identify internal process and automation improvements
• Manage transition plans for major upgrades or patches
• Diagnose and investigate unique and complex systemic problems
• Create, maintain, and manage Windows, Android, iOS, iPadOS images
 

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 years of experience supporting MacOS/Windows/iOS/Android in a corporate environment
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a similar field
• Experience in a start-up environment a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
• 1 years Enterprise Windows client management experience(GPO’s, Chef, FOG, MDT etc.)
• Experience with mobile device management(MDM) solutions
• Experience with ADB (flashing/sideloading)
• Strong networking skills preferred (DHCP, TCP/IP, FTP, PXE)
• Strong familiarity with Windows 10/11 (Windows Deployment, PE, registry, services, tasks)
• Basic knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience in building PCs (specifically gaming), with a wealth of knowledge in upcoming and existing PC components
