Now Hiring : Admissions Coordinator

Description :

• Responsible for both welcoming patients and collecting their personal and medical information.
• The admissions coordinator helps to determine whether the patient will be admitted.
• Assisting with client queries and admissions procedures.
• Coordinates all admitting department operations in a nursing home environment.
• Ensures compliance with applicable standards.
• Oversees the in-patient / out-patient functions, bed assignments, and completion of preliminary paperwork for entering patients.
• Works with medical, nursing, and accounting staff to ensure appropriate patient placement.

Qualifications :

• Admissions experience in a healthcare setting required.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Multi-tasking and job-role flexibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enrolment / admissions software (SalesForce Education Cloud, SchoolAdmin, Slate, etc.).
• Good communication skills.
