What are the responsibilities and job description for the LDC Operations Analyst position at Epiroc Drilling Solutions LLC?
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Be part of the DC Management Team and safeguard implementation and continuous improvement within the area of warehouse operations in the LDC network. To take accountability for the inventory with Epiroc LDC warehouse and 3PL locations ensuring stock accuracy and processes are aligned.
Define and follow up internal audit requirements towards other functions and LDC’s related to above areas.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As part of the Management team contribute to the continuous development of the LDC’s in order to be a high performing, quality driven and cost efficient supply chain towards our customers
- Actively contribute to and implement common strategies and activities related to LDC Operations
- Participate in projects and initiatives related to the US Distributions operations region and other global DC´s within your area of responsibility.
- Ensure that activities and processes being worked on will bring a ROI to Epiroc and Supply Chain.
- Manage and control cycle counting procedures within the assigned locations
- Take accountability for reporting monthly on adjustments and be responsible for adjustments at 3PL locations when needed.
- Work with Parts operations to ensure effective returns and OSMI processing is being implemented.
- Ensure that the correct level of compliance and certification is in place for effective operations.
- Define and create a training plan for new hires for each role within assigned locations.
- Collaborate proactively with MORE implementation team to ensure future state and roll out of MORE is seamless and business requirements can be executed.
- Drive common KPI reporting for alignment with GDC and RDC network
- Financial reporting accountability for 3PL and off site locations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge:
- Minimum 5-8 Years of Supply Chain and logistics Experience
- Good working knowledge of BPCS
- Experience in 3rd party API integrations is an advantage
- Several years of practical experience within supplier, customer and process development
- Documented experience from Management or supervisory positions within quality, logistics development and/or production.
- Special Knowledge, Certification or Licenses in Quality, compliance and logistics an asset
- Experienced MS Office user with in depth knowledge Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
- Thorough understanding of supply chain processes related to process and auditing
- Thorough understanding of domestic and international sales order throughput processes
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
Formal Education Requirement:
Bachlor's Degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred or extensive related experience required.
