JOB OBJECTIVE: This is an exciting senior leadership role in an innovative fast-growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has the experience and competency to grow and direct the overall supply chain operations including material demand planning, strategic sourcing, procurement, and inventory control. In this role you will be directly accountable for leading with cross functional partners to shape the future supply chain structure, operating system and business processes that drive efficiency for a rapidly expanding company.
Duties:
- Accountable for creating mission and strategic system thought leadership for the supply chain departments including planning, procurement, and inventory control
- Development of department standard work for front end planning, sourcing, procurement and supplier relationship management and driving quality product and OTD
- Development of KPIs and communication methods for Supply Chain departments and timely distribution to internal and external customers
- Performance of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
Required Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in developing high performing, technically knowledgeable and adaptable teams
- Strong executive presence with aptitude to create and effectively communicate information to company leadership, internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and customers
- Significant experience partnering with product teams or in a value stream environment that values cross functional partnership and communications
- Expert level understanding of integrated master scheduling, ERP/MRP systems process rigor including demand and supply planning elements/factors
- Applicable knowledge of how to mitigate risk and resolve conflict in the supply base and material availability
- Strong knowledge of receiving, incoming inspection, put away process, inventory management and how these support the overall operating system
- Demonstrated change agent or continuous improvement leader leveraging lean, 6sigma methodology
- Full understanding of compliance to industry standards including AS9100, ISO9001, ISO 28000 and Knowledge of export - EAR, ITAR controls
- Experience with managing projects or programs with FAR, DFAR contracting, DCMA and CPSR audits
- Knowledge of standard practices for providing material pricing inputs and writing BOEs in support of various types of proposals
- Experience in structuring material pricing models and cost accounting
- 10 years of experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing Leadership and People Management Roles
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (future clearance may be required)
Desired Qualifications:
- Exposure to standard materials and processes used to manufacture components, assemblies, sub-assemblies. (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Subs and Systems)
- Lean or 6Sigma Expert level certification
- Project Management certification or knowledge of best practices including MS Project, SmartSheet and how to allocate resources, control cost, schedule
- Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization
- Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Advanced degree in Business, MBA and/or Supply Chain specific certifications

For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
Salary : $149,775 - $200,783
