What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at Epitopix LLC?
Vaxxinova US is seeking a Production Technician to join our team in Willmar, MN. As a key member of the Central Services department the Production Associate is responsible for providing clean equipment needed to manufacture vaccines daily.
This position is an evening shift position with primary hours between 4:00 PM-12 AM Monday through Friday with potential overtime depending on production schedules. There may be flexibility within these hours.
Main Responsibilities:
- Track, test, and maintain filters used for production
- Decontamination, washing and rinsing of equipment used for vaccine manufacturing
- Disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of production equipment
- Preparing/Wrapping equipment for sterilization
- Daily communication with other departments to strategically ensure equipment is ready for use
- Performing daily department cleaning and maintenance of a clean work environment to assure sterility
- Recording of all necessary information immediately upon completion of a task
- Completing and documenting ongoing/reoccurring required training of standard operating procedures and safety training modules
- Assisting other manufacturing departments when schedule permits
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Capabilities:
- Basic math skills required
- General proficiency with MS Office
- Mechanical problem-solving experience or aptitude are a huge plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize work and passion for detailed completion of assigned duties
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Clear, legible handwriting skills required
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods, twisting, turning, reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- One (1) to two (2) years in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Two (2) year degree in any technical field preferred
