Competitive starting pay of $30.00-$35.00 per hour (pay DOE)

Epworth at Home has a $1,500 Sign-on bonus for all Full-time, newly hired LPN's.

Limited travel.

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, for Home Health patients. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.

• Provides direct patient care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act
• Implements plan of care initiated by the registered nurse
• Provides accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care
• Assesses and provides patient and family/caregiver education regarding self-care techniques and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care
• Participates in coordination of home health services,appropriately reporting the identified needs for other services to the registered nurse and/or Clinical Supervisor
• Uses and/or prepares equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently adhering to aseptic technique
• Participates in personal and professional growth and development
• Performs other duties as assigned by the registered nurse
  
  

Skills/Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program
• Has three (3) years nursing experience. Hospice, Home Health or medical/surgical experience is preferred. Prefer at least one (1) year of Home Health experience
• Complies with accepted professional standards and practice
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, technical and organization skills
• Licensed driver with automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization requirements
  
  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Currently licensed as a licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state
• Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
