Job Description: | Project Description: Indefinite Quantity Contract to provide Temporary Professional Technical/Administrative Staff support for the Program Director managing the Capital Projects. Description of Work: Assist Program Director in managing Capital Program projects which are in Planning, Design, Construction and Closeout projects. Assist/coordinate in resolving project related issues. Prepare reports and presentations as needed to support the Business Unit. Maintain Modifications/Additional Work Orders (AWOs) Logs, contractor payments and other budgetary/administrative work database. Monitor projects schedule, cost and activities. Interact with various Project CEO's, Design and Construction Managers and operating divisions and departments. Prepare/update various reports such as Project Status Reports, FTA Reports, Traffic Light Reports, and any other report requested by the Program Director or Sr. Management. Attend staff/project progress meetings and write minutes of meeting. Perform administrative duties such as filing, answering phones, office supplies, timesheets, field office visits for pickup/delivery of documents, etc. Work Requirements: 30-Hour OSHA Certification and 8-hour Lead Awareness Course are required. The Consultant shall provide safety shoes, at no cost to C&D, which meets NYCT guidelines and specifications when participating in any activities located on the track or wayside. The Consultant shall become familiar with and follow NYCT Guidelines the Procedures as applicable. Must pass a One-day NYCT Track Safety & prior to participating any in work Capital Program projects. |
Education Requirement: | Qualifications Requirement: A baccalaureate Degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Equivalent. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: | Experience Requirement: A minimum of three years' experience in program development and support, business administration or related field. Excellent grammar, written and verbal communication skills. Working experience in communicating and organizing project information generating reports and Power Point presentation; and process design/construction related documents. Experience with Outlook and Microsoft Office is required. Special Skills/Training Requirements: Microsoft Office Suite |
Hours: | Normal Work Week: Monday to Friday 5. No. of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 Hrs. per Week (Important: MTA C&D does not pay for lunch hours.) 6. Hours of Work: 8:30 A.M. to 5:00P.M. 50% Technical and 50% Administrative 95% Office Work 5% Field Visit Right-of-Way access is required |
