Job Description:
Accurately and effectively collecting, processing and testing all specimens submitted to the laboratory for diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Performs daily and periodic maintenance on instruments.
Responsible for professional growth and image.
Exhibits excellent customer service behaviors to patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.
Responsible for compliance with safety, infection control and security policies and procedures.
Participates in performance improvement and quality control programs.

Education Requirement:
ASCP or AMT
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
1 year min exp Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Good problem solving skills
Patient record documentation skills
Strong time management skills
Ability to think strategically and act tactically
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
Ability to embrace the client relationship to guide decisions and actions
