Job Summary: The Finance Strategy and Transformation team is responsible for assessing and delivering process continuous improvement and automation using 6 sigma methodology and robotic process automation. We are searching for a Business Process Optimization Manager who will work with functional teams towards implementing efficient and scalable processes. You will analyze and design business processes in collaboration with business partners and subject matter experts across the finance organization. We are looking for someone to make immediate impact in this role to reduce process complexity, increase process efficiency, and enable speed of operational processes. Responsibilities The candidate will primarily be responsible for working with the process owners and process subject matter experts in defining and implementing streamlined, standardized and scalable global processes Process Improvement Drives process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current/future-state processes in partnership with key internal partners in Finance Understands the needs of a global function and builds solutions that are standardized but still account for local needs Identifies process gaps along with a root cause analysis of issues and uses data to make fact-based decisions for process improvement Makes process design and development recommendations to standardize, improve, or redesign processes to meet business needs Works with cross functional teams to ensure the development of an efficient and scalable end to end process Exposure to finance analytics, ability to study business processes and identify areas of improvement where analytics solutions can be maximized Project Management Builds, leads, and drives regional/cross-regional project plans and resources, implementing them using appropriate tools and techniques Drives alignment with partners from problem identification through implementation and post-implementation monitoring Ensures that the Process Improvement initiatives are aligned with the function’s strategic goal Tracks and communicates the status of business initiative projects to management Qualifications 5-10 year of experience in process improvement efforts. Preferably with a consulting firm or in an internal transformation team Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field Applicable work experience in a consulting, procure to pay or invoice to cash environment Excellent communication skills including research, writing, and presentation skills Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills required Process Certifications (Six Sigma, BPM, ITIL or equivalent) preferred Ability to understand and assimilate new ideas and manage change preferred Prior technology focus around process tools preferred (i.e. RPA, Process Mining) Green belt preferred Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
