POSITION SUMMARY
Provide day-to-day technical support to service operation for all Equipment Depot locations. Provide a hassle-free experience for our customers. Provides consistent technical communications support (that is, one way of doing business) across all Equipment Depot locations. Troubleshoots in the field as necessary. Works with OEM service engineers to find solutions to technical problems working to resolve. Works with Technical Communications Supervisor to coordinate field campaigns, create technical bulletins and achieve business objectives by improving the skills and professionalism within our service operation. Conduct technical skills assessment interviews with technician candidates as necessary.

• Works in close alignment with location service management to ensure teamwork in addressing their technical communications needs. Develops and maintains open communication with these individuals.
• Works with his/her Technical Communications Supervisor to identify trends within the organization or business environment and develop plans to address.
• Assists in the recruiting and in the development and enhancement of the service and parts organization.
• Assists in conducting technical skills interviews with potential new tech hires.
• Assists in the implementation and use of the Service Automation system.
• Present and maintain professional image/manner in performing role.
Qualifications
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: minimum high school diploma
Experience: 5 years hands- on experience as a Technician, Trainer or Technical Communicator
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer operation and ability to use Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel as well as good knowledge of various vendor software programs to aid in technical problem diagnostics and resolution
Other Requirements: Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to facilitate change.
