EquipmentShare is searching for a Wiring Harness Production Manager for the manufacturing facility in Columbia, Mo.

Primary Responsibilities for a Wiring Harness Production Manager
The Wiring Harness Production Manager will lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of all manufacturing operations within the plant. Responsible for cost-effective planning, processing, production, and shipping. This role will be the direct manager for each Supervisor. The Production Manager contributes to the success of the EquipmentShare Assembly by ensuring projects are produced on time, within budget, with the highest quality and uncompromising safety.
- Train and develop plant operators and support staff to create effective teams and efficient production
- Convert design team output into work orders and schedules to meet customer demands
- Communicate with project managers to understand project priorities and schedule production accordingly
- Work with the Maintenance team to accommodate routine and annual maintenance activities
- Ensure efficient production scheduling to achieve plant production targets
- Identify opportunities for cost control and work to implement them with support from the Plant Manager
- Focus on ongoing process improvement. Ensure production is carried out according to high-quality standards set forth by the company and project team
- Always promote a safe working environment
- Manage collection and reporting of production data, KPI's etc. to support routine dashboards and special reports as required by Plant Manager
- Operate with transparency and earn trust at all levels through communication and actions. Required
- Work with the Quality department to create QMS (Quality Management Systems) documentation and protocols, making sure that all operations records are properly maintained and reviewed, to be in full compliance with ISO9001 and other industry-standard certifications

Skills & Qualifications for a Wiring Harness Production Manager
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, both mechanical and electrical wire cable harnesses
- Familiar with WHMA-A-620D standards for manufacturing wiring harnesses
- 5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably harness assembly processing
- Proven working managerial experience as an operations supervisor/manager as well as adequate knowledge of business and management principles to maintain and grow the business
- Demonstrate leadership and strong people/team building, decision-making along with effective delegation with accountability
- Proficient with Google suite, Gantt charting, cloud-based project management applications, and related tools and technologies
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO9001) as well as equipment and technical expertise
- Knowledge of equipment, plant safety procedures/protocols
- Languages: Spanish required, Bilingual Spanish preferred
