Job Description
- Assesses training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives
- Designs, plans, organizes, or directs orientation and training programs for employees or customers
- Offers specific training of workforce development programs (SNAP, TANF, WIOA, TAA) to help employees maintain, improve, enhance job skills
- Presents information with a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures - may require travel within the County
Qualifications
- Related Bachelors degree and two years of experience in staff and/or organizational development and training and public speaking, or four years professional experience in training and public speaking for a diverse audience
- Must possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to, experience with creating and maintain training databases, PowerPoint, Prezi, and other presentation platforms
- Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written skills
- Must possess the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with customers, team members, and leadership
