Job Opportunity

ERA, a leader in the Twin Cities structural engineering profession, seeks a structural engineering intern to assist Licensed Professional Engineers on various building projects.


Duties

  • Performing design calculations
  • Preparing structural drawings
  • Reviewing contractor shop drawings
  • Assisting with site observations and reports
  • Updating analysis spreadsheets


Hours and Compensation

40 hours per week,

Requirements

Qualifications (include but are not limited to)

Pursuing BS or MS in Structural or Civil Engineering program, at ABET accredited University

Completed minimum of Junior year

Have completed at least one course in in Structural Analysis, at least one course in Steel Design and/ or Concrete Design

Excellent oral, written and communication/presentation skills

Previous internship experience with a structural engineering firm a plus

Advanced Excel experience, both classroom and hands on

Attention to detail
