Overview
ERT is looking to hire a PlanView Administrator. This candidate will be responsible for partnering with various departments including the project management team to help guide them in meeting business needs and maximizing the value from ERT's PlanView investment. Through consultative skills, business knowledge, and PlanView Enterprise One PRM expertise, the candidate will act as a trusted advisor to help maximize the use of the platform.
Responsibilities
Application Oversight (Owner)
- Act as owner and primary administrator of the ERT Planview implementation.
- Provide application and system support to all employees for Planview implementation.
- Provide application performance monitoring, evaluation and optimization.
- Drive user adoption across the organization through user training and best practices.
Application Architecture / Road map
- Architect the application(s) to meet business needs. Establish integration with other applications.
- Maintain application road map and work with all stakeholders to set priorities.
- Establish best practices for administering and securing application(s).
- Propose and implement/lead job automation using scripts and other tools.
- Implement solutions to meet or improve specific customer or business needs.
- Manage projects to build new functionality, workflows, processes, and/or reporting in the application including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, user documentation and training.
Application Maintenance / Configurations
- Define and maintain PlanView Enterprise information about the resources, users and rates.
- Create and maintains the calendars, time periods, tiles/ribbons, dashboard portal reports, Maintain System Configuration, Primary and Alternate Structures.
- Create Custom Fields, Life-cycles, Configured Screens, Scripted Dialog, Menus, Ribbons, Tiles, and Column Sets.
- Maintain Reporting Tools, Dashboard Portal reports, Data Mart (data warehouse), and extracts for the organization.
3rd Party applications and integrations
- Research, evaluate and provide guidance in the selection and implementation of 3rd party applications.
Problem / Incident Management
- Troubleshoot issues, providing expert level support. Resolve issues or identify escalation to Systems team or vendor and provide root cause analysis. Take ownership of the issue until resolved.
Business Processes
- Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiency and opportunities for improvement. Implement or direct the implementation of such process improvements.
- Work with stakeholders to establish key metrics, KPIs and SLAs that are measurable and sustainable.
- Create reports and dashboards on PlanView platform as requested by users using the OOTB functionalities.
Release Management
- Ensure successful installation and validation of vendor-provided upgrades and patches.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including analysis, test case scenarios, and migration procedures.
Vendor Support
- Monitor license usage and budgeting for licensing costs. Provide metrics on anticipated needs during budget cycle and submit procurement requests when additional licenses are required.
- Maintain relationship with vendor to resolve application issues and ensure that Early Warning's needs for new functionality are considered in future releases.
Application Security
- Support the company's commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides insightful analysis when evaluating an issue encountered during testing and able to clearly articulate it back to development teams
- Design and document procedures and training materials to be used by internal clients.
- Communicate with all levels of management and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Perform data analysis and reporting as needed to support annual planning, demand management processes and finance management processes
- Coordinate and participate in Planview roll-out. Update training materials as required to document new functionality

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, or equivalent.
- Certification in project and portfolio management (PMP Preferred)
Experience:
- Planview: 3 years (Preferred)
- PPM / PMO: 5 years (Preferred)
