About the Role:
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join us in a fast-moving, professional environment located in the Clackamas/Happy Valley area. The focus includes optimization of systems related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using QuickBooks, and payroll using Paychex. Time will be spent working with spreadsheets, reviewing checking account balances, coordinating invoice payments, and streamlining processes. Knowledge and application of basic bookkeeping, attention to detail, and organization with the ability to multitask are necessary. This individual works under ERHCo Inc. Head of Finance, representing ERHCo Inc. company goals, missions and most importantly Core Values.
Objectives:
- Conduct Business in keeping with ERHCo Core Values
- Optimize Invoice payment processes
- Maintain and reconcile account balances
- Bi-weekly payroll processing
- Employee maintenance, HR clerical
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable
- Record vendor invoices and organize payments
- Record customer invoices and receive payments
- Verify vendor statements and review vendor inquiries
- Monthly journal entries into accounting software
- Bank Account Management:
- Record daily sales in QuickBooks
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Checking account reconciliations
Payroll
- Verify employee time clock records for accuracy
- Review and input compensation into payroll-provided software.
- Process payroll journal entries
Employee Maintenance
- Process new employee paperwork
- Maintain employee database
- Handle basic employee inquires
Experience
- Accounting experience preferred
Hours and Compensation
- Full-time position, 8:30 to 5:00, Mon-Fri.
- Hourly pay, compensated bi-weekly
