We are hiring a Fitness Specialist to join our team. The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience: $19 - $22 hour
How you will make an impact:
* Performing fitness assessments.
* Create an appropriate exercise program, unique to the clients abilities and goals for both 1-1 and group personal training.
* Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques while using gym equipment.
* Knowledge of basic water chemistry testing and teaching aquatic classes.
* Developing exciting group exercise classes in a safe and engaging environment.
* Maintaining a clean fitness and aquatic area for members.
* Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

What you will need:
* Associate's degree in Health Education or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
* Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
* Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
