Job Description

Passenger Loading Bridge Technician ERMC is looking for a qualified individual to performs all maintenance related work assignments to insure all facilities & equipment are properly maintained in a safe and reliable working order. Main focus will be to resolve all Passenger Loading Bridges and Ground Support equipment issues. • Performs unassisted routine preventative maintenance and major repairs on various electrical and mechanical equipment. • Maintains assigned tools and supports the accurate inventory of all company supplied tools. • Maintains high quality appearance of the equipment and facility. • Updates maintenance work assignment records via the computerized maintenance management system. • Perform minor welding tasks with electrical welding equipment on mild steels and be knowledgeable of all safety practices relating to welding processes. • Resolves all Passenger Boarding bridge and Gate Service equipment malfunctions that involve the electrical mechanical and computer control system. • Assigns work via computerized work order system. • Troubleshoots complex electrical controls. • Installs electrical circuitry, conducts and control components. • Recommends purchases and stocking levels for critical parts and supplies. • Provides facility operations support for hardware set-ups and repairs. Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. Able to remain on feet for extended periods of time. Able to serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Able to troubleshoot system-related problems. Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at a basic level. Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Knowledge and/or expertise in related area of responsibility. Knowledge of occupational hazards of the trade and necessary safety precautions.

• Must have completed classroom training or its equivalent on electrical controls.• Must have experience repairing and maintaining complex high volume conveyor equipment. • Must have training or equivalent for basic AC & DC electricity. • Experience repairing and maintaining basic mechanical devices required.
