What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Athletic Trainer position at ESC Region 11?
This position requires an individual who can work independently and provide valuable input as a team member. This is a coordinator-level position on a 12-month contract which reports to the Deputy Superintendent.
- Must be BOC Certified or eligible
- Must be able to obtain a Texas state license
- Will teach two sports medicine classes. Teacher certification is not required (preferred) as Rio Vista ISD is a district of innovation. Sports Medicine Instructor certification through Texas Athletic Trainer's Association.
RVISD has multiple athletic training facilities on its campuses. RVHS has two athletic training facilities. One in the field house and one in the gymnasium, with a new facility under construction in the near future.
