Position Summary

The eCommerce Specialist is a vital member of our warehouse operations team. This individual will focus on order fulfillment and will pick, pack, and ship orders for customers relying on eShipping’s services. This is a fast-paced role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive inventory
  • Pick and pack orders and get them ready to ship
  • Use scanners to read bar codes
  • Inventory Control
  • Shrink-wrap pallets
  • Handle Overage, Shortage and Damaged Product
  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Maintain equipment and cleanliness of warehouse
  • Ensure that processes and safety procedures are followed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move pieces using a pallet jack and dolly
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
  • Possess excellent customer service, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must be able to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud

Special Requirements

  • This position is subject to preliminary and random drug testing

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Cognitive/Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate simple and complex information, ideas, and information. The employee is also required to use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information, and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations. The employee must use problem-solving skills to formulate and apply appropriate courses of action for routine or familiar situations. The employee may be required to perform numerical operations including basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing or more complex quantitative calculations.
  • Work Environment: This position is primarily performed in a warehouse with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels.
