What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager position at Eskay Management?

As a Leasing Agent/ Assistant PM you are responsible for renting out units and assisting tenants with their needs. Their duties include meeting with prospective tenants to determine lease terms, receiving security deposits and coordinating with current tenants to discuss lease changes. Help will billing and general tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years’ experience in multi fam a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Meet daily with the Manager to discuss leasing activity and other related matters.
- Promote the services of the facility through good communication skills and an attitude of comfort and convenience to clients.
- Knowledge of property management services and practices including leasing apartment units and market rates for prospective applicants.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures related to leasing office space and retail properties.
- Assist in maintaining records regarding apartment rental contracts, reports, etc. including filing documents when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by the property Manager.
