The Security Specialist recognizes the crucial role that business networking plays in the sales process. They actively participate in various networking groups such as BNI, local Chambers of Commerce, and business, government, and non-profit associations. By forging connections with professionals from diverse industries, they establish a strong presence for ESP Pros within the community and uncover new business opportunities. Their experience in these networking groups enables them to be an established expert to the business community and the first person a business owner or manager would think to call when they have a need for security.

Key Responsibilities for the Security Specialist:

  • Act as primary point of contact for new accounts: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments: Analyze clients' current security infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, and provide expert recommendations to address their unique needs.
  • Develop tailored security solutions: Design and propose customized security plans that effectively enhance clients' security measures and align with their specific requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge: Stay informed about the latest trends, advancements in security technology, and best practices to ensure clients receive cutting-edge security solutions.
  • Engage in business networking activities: Actively participate in networking groups such as BNI, local Chambers of Commerce, and business, government, and non-profit associations to establish a strong presence for ESP Pros within the community.
  • Generate leads and uncover new business opportunities: Leverage connections within the business community to identify potential clients and foster new partnerships.
  • Promote ESP Pros within the business community: Utilize networking groups and personal connections to position ESP Pros as the go-to security expert for businesses in need of security services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with other security specialists, technicians, and support staff to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of client security solutions.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance: Track key sales metrics, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the ongoing refinement of ESP Pros' sales strategy.
  • Deliver engaging presentations on security service trends: Regularly present to groups within target industries and business communities, discussing the latest trends and advancements in security services and establishing credibility as a trusted expert solidifying ESP Pros' reputation within the market.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES

  • Frequent standing and walking, which may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
  • Required lifting and/or moving related to emergency assistance and/or emergency equipment; depending upon assignment, may be occasional or frequent, and may involve weight or force in excess of 70 pounds.
  • Required to have the ability to see details within close range, at a distance, and ability to adjust focus.
  • On occasion may be required to perform stressful and physical activity.
  • Depending upon assignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others.
  • Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens requiring protective measures.

CREDENTIALS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Lead generation and partnership development expertise.
  • Effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Sales performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Any combination of work and education experience which demonstrates the ability to be excellent in performing the job.
  • BSIS active guard card or 3 years of security experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
