Job Overview
The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the office by handling various administrative tasks and ensuring efficient office procedures.
Duties
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Manage and maintain accounts payable and assist with payroll processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with corporate accounting tasks
- Utilize Quicken and other accounting software to input data accurately
- Follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial transactions
- Utilize 10-key typing for data entry tasks
Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Quicken and other accounting software
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles including accounts payable and bank reconciliation
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.76 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)
