Overview:
We are seeking an experienced copy editor to join our content marketing team to review a wide range of brand collateral for digital and print media. With your impeccable grammar, spelling, and editing skills and attention to detail, you will ensure content accuracy and adherence to established standards, consistency among document types and brand messaging, and alignment with company vision and departmental goals.
You'll manage assignments based on their priority through the Adobe Workfront work management platform and collaboration tool.
Responsibilities:
- Review and digitally edit content as assigned using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and the Adobe Workfront proofing tool

Edit copy in accordance with each document type's established format, following guidelines based on The Chicago Manual of Style for spelling, punctuation, capitalization, style, grammar, and usage

Respond to inquiries from various Esri staff members

Keep current on Esri products, services, and events as well as the geospatial industry

Collaborate closely with team members to ensure consistency in edits and procedures and keep pace with workflow

Organize and maintain accurate meeting notes and ensure use of up-to-date references

Assist in training other editors and writers in Esri standards
Requirements:
- Ability to pass written test demonstrating knowledge of grammar, usage, spelling, and punctuation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The desire to learn about and remain current with developments in the geospatial industry and with Esri technology

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

Bachelor's in English or similar field
