Supply Planner - Hybrid
Work Hours: 8am - 5pm
Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize forecasting/planning/allocation system to order product and ensure smooth flow to, distribution centers and fulfillment centers
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory through accurate purchasing and reacting to changes in sales trends and troubleshoot / resolve supply chain issues. Communicate and escalate critical vendor supply chain issues to minimize impacts to service levels
- Perform daily maintenance, including but not limited to order processing, confirmation, tracking orders with manufacturers and carriers, communication with distribution center on receiving discrepancies and prioritization, processing returns and claims to vendor.
- Meets daily with demand managers to discuss assigned SKU service level performance, key in-stock and inventory issues, focus areas for the week and extended timeframes. Work with vendor base with the use of vendor scorecards to resolve chronic issues such as Lead Time, Fill Rate, Data Quality, Etc. to ensure a world-class customer experience
- Monitor age of inventory and determine potential inventory risks. Proactively lead collaborative efforts with Demand Management and Category Management with appropriate action to mitigate and relieve at-risk and aged inventory.
- Work with cross-functional partners to successfully execute various product shifts including seasonal buys, and large customer on-boarding
- Develop and maintain positive, effective relationships with vendors to facilitate timely and accurate processing of orders and delivery of product
- Understand and action key daily reports such as inactive inventory, daily out of stocks, and forecast exceptions
- Utilize exception reporting and conduct your own data pulls to identify opportunities to improve service levels, reduce inventory and speed up turn
- Conduct ad hoc analytical assignments aimed at solving for a specific business opportunity
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and stretch projects aimed at optimizing the flow of inventory

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 year of work experience in a related field, or strong internship/ co-op experience
- Flexible, detail oriented, with strong planning and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management systems (i.e. E3, JDA) is a plus
