Warehouse Operations Manager

Schedule: 12:00PM - 09:00PM
Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist the GOM in managing overall facility efficiency including: safety, productivity, operating expense, LPH, quality and resource allocation
- Allocates and manages operation’s resources/roles based on operation’s and budgetary targets and customer expectations
- Interacts with Sales and other functions to resolve customer issues and ensure profitability.
- Drives a high-performance organization through:
- Contributing to region strategic direction through tactical implementation of key projects and initiatives in the facility
- Aligning the culture of the facility to the overall company strategy and structure

- Manages and coordinates the activities of multiple departments ensuring a productive, safe and inclusive work environment.
- Achieves productivity, process and quality goals for areas of responsibility. Identifies and removes barriers to achieving departmental goals.
- Ensures adequate staffing levels according to the departments’ workload. Coordinates necessary staffing changes across departments based on projected volume.
- Ensures proper safety focus and required safety processes/training are implemented.
- Maintains functional plans around workforce planning, communications planning, and operational planning.
- Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s core Values & guiding actions
- Trains, develops and prepares the Assistant Operations Manager for promotion to the level of Operations Manager level.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or related discipline required.
- Minimum five years of job related experience required.
