The STEMI Program Manager position reviews, records and compares clinical cardiovascular data to be used for ongoing quality initiatives, as well as supports regional aspects of the STEMI Program. Position requires participation and leadership in bi-monthly multidisciplinary team meetings of the Acute Myocardial Infarction Task Force to evaluate outcomes, quality improvement opportunities, and clinical challenges that need support. Position may also require participation in and attendance at various meetings and conferences to present clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include the review of operational issues, identifying problems and working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to make recommendations. Some of these activities include the oversight and support of processes for pre-hospital identification and activation, destination protocols to STEMI Receiving Centers, and the transfer for patients who arrive at STEMI Referral Centers and are primary PCI candidates, and/or are fibrinolytic ineligible and/or in cardiogenic shock.
Work experience:
3 years’ RN experience in cardiovascular patient care.

This position is a 1.0 FTE which means you will work 40 hours a week or 80 hours per pay period.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of North Dakota upon hire. Ability to obtain RN License in MN required within 3 months of hire.
