Description:
The Talent Acquisition Partner will collaborate with the Essentia Health Human Resources partners and hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the organization to source and hire top talent. The position will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops strong relationships with hiring managers and Human Resources partners to gain a detailed understanding of hiring needs and how they align with the organizational mission
- Completes detailed intake sessions with hiring managers to determine the need and specifications of each open position to ensure key requirements and preferences are identified
- Identifies qualified candidates through sourcing and screening activities.
- Educates hiring leaders on talent acquisition best practices for interviewing, closing and onboarding talent
- Develops recruitment strategies to proactively source, qualify, and close top talent for defined functional areas. Ensures recruitment and sourcing strategies meet managers’ needs for quality and effective hiring
- Provides support and education for hiring leaders on the entire talent acquisition process, including advising on staffing policies and procedures, developing an ongoing pool of qualified candidates, posting and applicant screening or interviewing, documentation, and post-hiring activities, and establishing working relationships with internal and external contacts
- Builds relationships with organizational leadership to ensure successful implementation of the talent acquisition strategy aligns with department and organizational staffing goals
- Manages and tracks all components of the compensation process including candidate offer calculation based on job market and internal equity, offer presentation, and salary negotiation. Ensures communications align with the organization's culture and strategic plans
- Achieve and/or exceed all established SLA’s and hiring goals for this position
- Demonstrates a growth mindset through additional training, education, certification, etc.
- Promotes Essentia’s mission, vision, and values, and identifies methods in which to effectively communicate Essentia as an employer of choice to prospective talent
- Accountable for mission critical positions help support the organization’s most challenging recruitment assignments
- Engages in critical process improvement initiatives to advance the capabilities and performance of the Talent Management team
- Represents Talent Management on department and organizational leadership meetings, trainings, and process improvement events
- Mentors, coaches, and serves as a resource for other members of the Talent Management team
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of Human Resources, hiring, or other related experience
- Ability to be onsite, or in the community, as needed to consult, partner, and engage with leaders, projects, etc. (approximately 10% of time)
- Serve as a leader and mentor to talent acquisition team members
