About the Role
Reporting into the Site Manager, the RESH Specialist is ultimately responsible for leading the implementation and maintenance of the Risk, Health, Safety and Environmental enablers onsite.

What You Will Do
- Provide expertise and Management systems
- You are responsible for your areas where you:
- Build competence and transfer knowledge
- Be updated on current and coming legislation
- Participate in training if required
- Represent your selected areas within Essity.
- Communicate internally and externally.
- Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Champion the company’s Risk, Health, Safety and Environmental processes, its communication to internal and external parties and its implementation throughout the site.
- Implement legal compliance and Essity enablers, safety plans, goals and objectives
- Review and quantify safety risks and provide clear communications for control
- Develop and facilitate staff training, induction and employee representative sessions relating to Risk, Health, Safety and Environmental processes.
Who You Are
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry
- The ideal candidate will possess a high level of self-drive, a positive attitude and a collaborative approach to their work, whilst also representing our global business values of courage, commitment, collaboration and care.
- Passionate about Health and Safety
- Experience using Gensuite software an advantage
- Technical knowledge would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of EPA environmental regulation, life safety requirements, NFPA codes, OSHA regulation and other applicable health and safety law
