Summary of who we are looking for:

Our Attorney is a Superstar who loves their work, and has experience in estate planning and/or probate. Our Associate listens to the clients, takes the time to understand the client’s goals and what keeps them up at night. They're willing to work with the client to strategize and orchestrate a plan that aligns with those goals (not provide cookie cutter answers).

Our Associate performs legal analysis, legal strategy planning, and technical drafting.

Our Associate understands the value of delegation, as opposed to abdication, and will provide oversight and training to the rest of the team.

Compensation:

$90,000 - $125,000 DOE plus quarterly bonuses

Responsibilities:

Client Focused Tasks:

  • Engage with Client in Preliminary Legal Strategy Sessions to fully understand the facts and the goals.
  • Engage with Legal Team to share legal strategy and work as a team to meet the client’s goals.
  • Oversee and analyze estate planning and probate documents drafted by the Legal Team and provide feedback and guidance to create stronger work products and streamlined processes.
  • Attend probate hearings if needed.
  • Document the e-file throughout the case to maximize communication.


Administrative/ Team/ Financial Tasks:

  • Engage with the Team to create a collaborative culture.
  • Contribute and Participate in team training, team builders, and other growth opportunities.
  • Track billable and non-billable time; oversee team's billable time; monitor quarterly Key Performance Indicators.


Marketing Tasks:

  • Engage in 3 networking events/contacts each month.
  • Write 3 “Just a note” cards/month to colleagues, clients, friends, acquaintances to solidify relationships.
  • On occasion, participate in podcasts, audio recordings, videos, and live streams to help promote our message.


Other Duties:

  • Create efficiencies through developing, updating and refining the Firm’s systems inc. policies and procedures, examples, templates, scripts, diagrams, workflows, and videos.
  • Actively work with Office Manager with suggestions on improving services and client relationships.


Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in Estate Planning and/or Probate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of estate planning concepts & strategies
  • Willingness to be Creative and Innovate
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and delegate.
  • Resilient problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail including grammar and spelling
  • Understanding of customer-service
  • Law Degree
