We are a rapidly growing full-service marketing firm located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We are currently looking for a person who is experienced in social media strategy, execution and management.
Job Description: Do you love to blog, tweet, share, and post to social media in your sleep? Do you know what it takes to grow an online community? We’re looking for a content marketing professional to create engaging social media strategies and tactics that grow followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads. You should have full command of the best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.
As a Social Media Manager you’ll work closely with our creative team to develop content and manage marketing campaigns that drive results. A clear understanding of the posting and advertising platform for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Design and management of strategic Social Media campaigns
- Execute thorough SEO and competitor analysis and research
- Create marketing goals with team and client, then develop social media and content strategies to reach those marketing goals
- Create engaging, sharable and well-written and designed social media content that implements best practices for SEO
- Manage fan and follower engagement including comments and comment response
- Build and manage client social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
- Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about a client’s company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences
- Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.)
- Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads with content creation
- Explore new ways to engage and enhance online visibility
- Occasional creation of e-newsletters, blogs and other supporting content marketing assets
- Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on web and social media ROI
- Execution of detailed job estimates relating to social media and content marketing for use in client proposals
- Video and animation experience preferred

- Proficiency in G-Suite Apps
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Apps including:

- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to explain social media data and concepts

- Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube Ad Certification a plus
- Video and animation experience preferred
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 Years of full time social media management or marketing experience
- BFA/BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or a related field a plus
- Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
- Portfolio of relevant work

8 hours/day; Monday through Friday
