Objective:
The Logistics Lead is the primary person responsible for organizing the safe distribution of Etain products to their designated location. They will also assist with deliveries, quality control, and packaging. Team members will be expected to work in a variety of settings including outdoors, in delivery vehicles and in sterile labs and greenhouses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Package lots for shipment, ensuring the accuracy and quality of each shipment.
- Ensure that all documentation accompanies all shipments of medical marijuana products.
- Prepare transport manifests for delivery to internal and external dispensary locations.
- Deliver Etain LLC product to dispensing locations, ensuring the accuracy of the transfer manifest, and maintaining a clear chain of physical custody along with required documentation of such custody.
- Transport funds from dispensing locations to banks, ensuring that the quantity transported matches accounting records.
- Receive delivery of medical marijuana product to our manufacturing facility and ensure all inventory is logged and stored appropriately.
- Maintain detailed daily logs of visitors, maintenance, petty cash use, and waste disposal.
- Ability to assist with the delivery of products into the store.
- Participate in inventory audits at all Etain LLC Locations.
- Optimize travel routes and logistic efficiencies.
- Maintain schedules and vehicles while minimizing overtime required.
- Support the QC team as needed.
Competencies:
- Ability to drive and ride in a vehicle for up to 12 hours.
- Attention to detail required for complex recordkeeping.
- Ability to use a computer and to learn new programs.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a variety of settings including vehicles, laboratories, dispensaries with patients, greenhouses, and outdoors. This position operates within a manufacturing environment and requires daily use of personal protective equipment such as respirators, hair nets, gloves, and goggles. When outside of the manufacturing center, professional attire is required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- New York State Driver's License
- 2 years' experience in security, compliance, quality control, or similar
- Equivalent level of education, training, and experience
- Must be 21 years of age.
