Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer 3
Location: Longmont CO 80501 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $50 hr on w2
Performs client and enterprise system build-outs at scale, identifying opportunities for efficiency gain and/or process improvement, while documenting completed work with detailed performance logs and build procedures. Is capable of managing inventory at scale of 2000 components that contribute to lab systems. Assesses the health of equipment being built and test runs being executed, proactively calling out any perceived issues while offering creative solutions to solve the team's biggest problems in this regard. Executes daily/weekly test cases using internal automation or vendor software. Performs first level triage of test failures, requiring knowledge of our test infrastructure, NVMe and other industry spec, and internal device spec. Strong problem-solving and experimental design skills will be key to success in this role.
Desired experience: experience and passion for client or enterprise PC components and systems, experimental design and test process, minimizing variables in retest to isolate specific fail modes. Prior storage experience preferred, but will assess the right candidate based on overall aptitude.
Desired skills: experienced python development or equivalent interpreted language, NVMe storage protocol, OCP 2.0 or other enterprise storage spec, comfort in a linux operating environment, technical writing, high attention to detail, customer-first.
