Fabrication Technician
Works with members of the fabrication team to provide fabricated components to the assembly areas in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
· Required to effectively operate the machines in the fabrication department.
· Individuals must be accurate in recording inventory transactions and labor times.
· Understanding where to find information, such as inventory levels, in SAP is necessary.
· Internal motivation to see the successful implementation of laser, waterjet, and brake press.
· MIG/TIG Welding/Certification.
Required Experience:
- Have a minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in a fabrication and job shop environment
- Have experience operating the following machines; auto saw, shear, ironworker, press brake, CNC plasma table, laser jet, water jet, tube bender
- Would prefer to have someone with programming and layout experience with CNC nesting software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
