Job description:
You will be involved in a range of tasks including excel based modelling, desktop research, technical report writing, contributing to bids, and preparing presentations for clients. You will be involved in multiple projects at once and the type of work is likely to be varied.
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to at least degree level (and perhaps also holding a post-graduate qualification) in relevant discipline, or with practical background or experience relevant to the job description;
- Excellent research and data analysis skills, including manipulation of large datasets;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including technical report writing;
- Demonstrable experience of applying creative, practical, common sense thinking to solve real-world problems;
- Proven organizational skills, working in a calm, logical way to deliver tasks efficiently;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with multiple colleagues, peers, and external clients;
- Excellent all-round IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office; and
- A genuine interest in developing a career in environmental consultancy.
_ Desirable: _
- Good technical knowledge, ideally based on practical experience, in at least one of the following areas:
o Circular Economy; or o Sustainability / Resource efficiency; o CO2 emissions estimates and approaches to emissions mitigation; or o Creating and using mathematical models to describe real-world problems; or o Waste / Recycling
- Experience working within the consultancy business model; and
- A demonstrable commitment to continuous learning and improvement so as to achieve high standards.

Remuneration
Flexible depending upon the experience of the successful candidate.
