Purpose of the Position
Representing the brand at first point of contact, Hospitality Guide are a very important part of the Eureka! experience. Greet all guests with personal style, seat all guests in a professional and friendly manner, handle all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and helpful manner, maintain a clean entrance and Hospitality Guide area, and greet all potential guests walking by. This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to others in management.

· Guiding guests through our service model and how it works
· Ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment
· Genuine friendliness – greeting all guests and co-workers in such a way to make them feel welcome (i.e., a warm smile, saying hello and goodbye, thanking guests)
· Knowledge of all menu and bar items in order to respond accurately to guests’ inquiries
· Respond to guest questions accurately and in a friendly, enthusiastic tone
· Calculate and quote accurate wait times via the Waitlist app
· Sanitize all tables and chairs/booths prior to seating
· Assist Service Champions in bussing tables using a tray
· Deliver food and beverages as needed
· Carry drinks to the table for guests being seated from the bar using a tray
· Maintain Greeter desk and surrounding area in an orderly fashion
· Efficiently Operate the POS system
· Execute proper food and drink placement at tables
· Bus tables throughout the restaurant and set tables to Eureka! Standards
· Thank all departing guests and asking them to return
· Maintain cleanliness of our restrooms periodically
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Food Handler Safety Card
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 25 pounds and repetitive hand and wrist motion; working with and around hot, cold, and hazardous equipment in a fast paced and congested environment that will occasionally be loud, hot and/or physically demanding.
