Personal Care Assistant
Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable Personal Care Assistant to support physically or mentally challenged clients in their everyday lives. The job includes providing assistance with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, and promoting overall well-being. Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to clients in their homes and communities
- Write personal care plans
- Record and report changes in clients’ health or welfare
- Assist clients with day-to-day activities
- Monitor clients’ emotional support
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Provide emotional and psychological support
Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and patients' family or friends
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and follow instructions
- Patience and compassion for the elderly or persons with physical or mental disabilities
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines for persons with disabilities or experience with them
