Position Summary

The Client Services Representative I is an advocate for our clients, and ensures studies are ordered with the highest level of customer service and quality. The position requires experience in customer service and order management processes, and a passion to inspire others and drive excellence in customer solutions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Client Services Representative is responsible for providing quotes and orders, supporting the Eurofins business development team, and coordinating with our operations and logistics teams. This role is collaborative and influential in a broad network of business functions, required to provide high quality services to our valued customers in alignment with Eurofins core competencies.

• Supports global client service team in quote and order management for scientific services. Travel to other sites may be required (0-3%)
• Manages customer resource database, ensuring accuracy in customer information, contracts, and fling purchase orders for service.
• Provides correspondence via telephone or email to provide quote/order or technical information.
• Analyzes customer request, replies in kind, and forwards to appropriate technical stakeholder.
• Provides consistent and timely communication to external and internal customers.
• Prepares large opportunity proposals, RFPs, study plans and contract documentation.
• Utilizes pricing tools and deductive reasoning to support custom pricing proposals.
• Provides inside sales support and coordination of inter-company sales orders.
• Actively references global catalog and site portfolios, and communicates with global team.
• Supports quality system and compliance management to ensure global regulatory compliance.
• Completes required training and all Employee Health and Safety requirements.
• Manages responsible use of confidential IT and business systems, as required.
• Ensures accurate data management and reporting, according to business process.
• Accountable for delivering to unit and site key performance metrics (quality, delivery on time).
• Supports site goals and demonstrates Eurofins’ competencies, as defined in the job plan.
• Provides mentorship and training to colleagues and external end users, when required.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

• Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Business acumen and proficiency with office computing systems

• Experience utilizing customer database and order management applications

• Demonstrated customer service experience in a fast-paced and time-bound environment
