Job Description
Eurofins Scientific, Inc, is a market leader in grain inspection throughout the Midwest. We have a Full-Time opening in Lafayette, IN.
The purpose of this position is to take a representative sample of corn or soybeans by using hydraulic truck probe and grading the grain based on USDA standards.
While grading grain we aim to provide analysis related to the following factors by leveraging lab equipment, experience and SOP’s: Moisture, Test Weight, Damage, Foreign Material, Odors, Insect Infestation, etc. These factors help determine the purchase price between the buyer and seller in a standard grain transaction. Additionally, applicants will get the opportunity to work with plant merchants and drivers to communicate results and facilitate best in class customer service.

- Work 8 Hour shifts while standing
- Work variable hours, shifts including week-ends
- No time off will be allowed during harvest hours
