Job Description

EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL has Laboratory Technician (Metals & Extractions) opening at our Pomona Laboratory. This is laboratory technician position assisting in Metals and Extractions department. Responsible for routine procedures in our Metals and Extractions groups.
- Responsibilities include but not limited to, the following:
- Will assist Metals/Extractions Scientists performing routine tasks and general laboratory duties as assigned in various laboratory sub groups.
- Will perform pH and turbidity testing, LIMS data upload
- Retrieves and re-bins samples from sample receiving
- Performs sample preparation such as digestion, solid phase extraction, aliquots, etc.
- Prepares general laboratory paperwork such as recording analytical results, bench sheets and laboratory logbooks
- Assist in day to day laboratory tasks, routine sample preparation and general laboratory related duties as assigned in various laboratory sub-groups.
Qualifications
- Some college level science courses or laboratory sample prep experience
- Must have basic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, document scanning, etc.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent attention to details and good organization skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
Additional Information
This is a full-time entry level position, Tuesday to Saturday 8:00am to 5:00 pm (40 hours per week).
The Salary range for this position is $17-19 / hour depending on level of experience.
Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Pomona, California are encouraged to apply.
This position is required to be onsite. It is not a remote position.
