About The Role
The key function of the MP&L Specialist is to drive efficiency at our North American divisions. The goal is to reduce investment, working capital, and floor space while driving down the costs of delivery parts from beginning to the end of the manufacturing process.
Your Responsibilities
Education – Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field.
Experience/Special Knowledge/Skills – MP&L education. Knowledge of PFEP and ability to optimize production flow opportunities.
Physical Demands/Work Environment – Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to spend day working on plant floor as required.
Travel: Significant travel and extended stays at our locations in North America required.

About The Role

Your Responsibilities
- Compete or validate calculations currently in place to calculate appropriate inventory levels
- Reduce the movement of material in the facility to save internal logistics costs.
- Optimize levels of raw, work-in-process, and finished goods inventories.
- Improve inventory accuracy at the division by identifying cycle count process improvement opportunities.
- Develop and/or review and improve the plan for every part process at the divisions.
- Optimize internal packaging concepts to reduce optimize internal process.
- Provide mid-term and short-term support to divisions needing help.
- Support needs identified by local MP&L teams.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
