Evanhoe is seeking an experienced Web Developer/Programmer to support one of our teams on contract at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Their role will include designing and building web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. They will design and develop user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. This person will consult with the various system stakeholders and end-users to identify current operating procedures and new requirements. They should have knowledge of standard web-based development concepts, practices, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop webform pages, web services, and controls using ASP.NET, WCF, and ASP programming (not MVC)
- Develop webform pages using CSS, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, and XML technologies
- Develop webform client export products to MSO products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe PDF
- Test, debug, and upgrade web pages
- Work with team and customer community to establish and refine screen display, flow, and transactional requirements
- Upgrade existing and design new screens, to include testing and debugging
- Design ASP.NET/JavaScript program elements to produce desired HTML
- Create Internet Explorer CSS style sheets, to include Standards and Quirks modes
- Produce customer training resources (documents, videos, forums)
- Organize, participate in, and present at customer training events
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Design, or related area; may be substituted for six (6) years' experience
- Required Skills/Experience:
- Three (3 ) years' of related experience
- Experience writing VB.NET (preferred), ASP.NET Webforms, WCF, ASP, HTML, and XML programs
- Knowledgeable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax programming
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat X and Adobe PDFG programming to export Adobe PDFs and Portfolios
- Experience with ASP.net, C sharp, Javascript, JQuery, Oracle Server, Visual Studio, TortoiseSVN, Oracle PL/SQL, ASP, HTML, XML Programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio
- Able to work independently
- Adept in Critical Thinking
- Excellent Oral and Written Communications
- Excellent Customer Service Attitude
- Ability to lead a small project andpeer review other’s work
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Department of Defense or Air Force Experience
- Familiarity with Syncfusion Essentials Studio
- Familiarity with a Version Control System
- CompTIA, CASP, ISC, CISSP or CSSLP certification
- Work Environment:
- Current support is accomplished remotely due to COVID-19
- Future support will likely occur on Wright Patterson AFB
