Who We're Looking For

We're looking for reliable, motivated, and mechanically inclined individuals who would like to learn the tricks of the trade and develop a career as a machinist or tool builder with us. We're a reputable company with many opportunities for long-term growth and professional development. What to Expect

• Work closely with a Journeyperson tool maker in maintaining production stamping tooling in a timely and efficient manner and developing production stamping dies
• Work closely with a Journeyperson in programming, set-up and running CNC equipment in a tool room environment
• You'll receive full-time on-the-job training that's comparable to a technical school or program
• We also offer part-time internships to accommodate college or tech school classes

Education/Training

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge
• Blueprint reading and Math/Measurement skills a plus (not required)
• Experience with Calipers and Micrometers are a bonus but not required.

• Must be trustworthy and dependable
• Strong work ethic
• Must be motivated, eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and excited to build a long-term career at Evans Tool & Die
• Hands-on learner with problem solving skills
• Must have reliable transportation
