What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at Evco Wholesale Food Corp?
EVCO is looking to hire a Buyer to join our purchasing team. This is a full-time, salaried position. All benefits apply.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm and 7:30am-5:00pm on Friday. Sales meetings as scheduled.
The right person for the job will be detail oriented, well organized, and possess strong math skills. Good communication and computer skills required. College degree preferred. Looking for someone with purchasing experience but willing to train the right candidate.
Buyers are responsible for vendor negotiations, inventory management, pricing and bidding of items, and merchandising of product.
