Ever Well Health is searching for a caring and compassionate facility Residential Care Assistant to join our growing team. Required to drive our vehicles - must be 21 to be covered by our insurance

- Tuesday-Saturday
- Friday - Monday
- 6:00AM-3:00PM
- 2:00PM-11: 00 PM
- 10:30PM-6:30AM
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
“What You Will Do”
Aids and supports residents in all areas of daily living, working individually and in groups. This will include appropriately prompting, escorting and supervising and assisting residents both in small groups and one on one if necessary.
- Provides transportation in agency vehicle for agency business (residents, supplies, food, etc.).
- Reminds residents of their medical appointments and may assist residents with their self-administered medications.
- Encourages and assist residents as needed with tasks to manage a resident’s medical conditions For example diabetes - assist residents with the maintenance of special diets, incontinence - assist residents with laundry, changing sheets and cleaning rooms.
- Leads and engages residents in planned group activities, outings, etc. with supervision.
- Attends and participates in staff, program, facility, and training as required.
- Assures that facility, resident and program areas are clean, organized and safe.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION & SKILLS
- Emergency management experience or the ability to be trained in assisting
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Has experience with exercising good judgment and acts calmly in emergency situations
REQUIRED - ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
- Tact and diplomacy when working with vendors and all outside parties.
- Excellent team player and communicator, with all levels of staff.
- Must be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work Legally in the United States.
- Ability to read and understand documents, write simple memos, reports, and letters, speak effectively with residents, customers or other employees.
- Ability to engage and communicate with residents in an empathetic manner.
- Tact and diplomacy when working with vendors and all outside parties.
- Ability to work effectively with persons differing in value systems, ethnicity, cultural backgrounds, language capabilities, and disabilities.
- Ability to follow directions and work within a program and systems structure.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized and emergency situations.

REQUIRED - CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
- DMV pull program
- Current First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certification
- Valid California driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
REQUIREMENTS - PHYSICAL
- Walking, Sitting, Pinching and Finger Flexion, and Visual/Auditory Acuity are required constantly (over 2/3 of the workday);
- Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling, Bending, Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling and Twisting are required occasionally (under 1/3 of the workday).
- Balancing, Climbing and Crawling are generally not required.
- Ability to Pass an Employment Physical.
- Current TB Test (No negative results within the last 12 months).
