Internal Auditor
The Internal Auditor analyzes and prepares documentation that monitors, evaluates, and tests financial records, processes, and systems. Under moderate supervision, this job participates in the examination, evaluation, and reporting of financial, operational and managerial processes and systems. This job helps ensure that processes and operations are functioning with integrity and in compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepares and maintains audit work papers to support audit scope and objectives.


• Audits recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies.


• Prepares documentation supporting the verification and inspection of financial statements, transactions, reports, and policies.


• Assesses vulnerabilities and provides recommendations and options regarding business process optimization, profit improvement, internal control and compliance.


• Evaluates the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place.


• Obtains and analyzes accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts, etc.


• Recommends modifications for existing processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls.

Qualifications

• 2 Years Required; 3 Years Preferred

• University (Degree), Preferred
