Job Description
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the AP Staff is responsible for ensuring invoices, expense reimbursements, payments, reconciliations, and journal entries are processed timely and accurately, in accordance with the Company’s accounting principles and policies, while supporting a strong service-oriented environment. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.
The candidate should possess strong AP and accounting experience, be analytical with strong problem-solving skills, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work with accuracy under pressure, and provide solid advice and data to others. Essential Functions
$61,068.49-93,600.00 USD
The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. Job Description

Essential Functions
- Implements, develops, and maintains systems, procedures, and policies for accounts payable functions for multiple departments.
- Procedures include but are not limited to opening and sorting mail and filing.
- Verifies and codes invoices to appropriate accounts, following policies for proper approvals, matches invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts for three-way match, enters data into the accounting software, assists with processing of weekly payment run, and maintains adequate supporting documentation.
- Develops a functional expertise with the general ledger system (Oracle Fusion), the T&E system (Concur).
- Reviews and processes expense reports in accordance with company Travel and Business Expense Policy.
- Prepares monthly accrual entries and reconciles accrual accounts and sub-ledgers.
- Performs research/ analysis and provides timely resolution and follow up to vendor and employee inquiries.
- Administers, monitors, and reconciles petty cash disbursements monthly.
- Assists and leads other projects and duties as assigned.
- Education: Accounting associate degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of accounts payable and general accounting background.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Solid planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work overtime during month-end close.
- Ability to effectively communicate, be a functional resource to others, and work well with others.
- Must be detail oriented and maintain high levels of accuracy for high volumes of data.
- Knowledge of large general ledger software applications and online procurement and expense reporting systems a plus
