Position: IAM DevOps Engineer
Location: 100% Remote with PST working hours
Job Description:
The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is in the process of deploying a new Access Management Solution and in the process of migrating its services to AWS. As part of the initiative, the IAM DevOps Engineer will be working deploying our new Access Management Solution and to assist with migrating existing services to AWS.
Project Arc: The project work is both inflight and starting anew. Work might be inflight by the time someone is started. Will be supporting multiple projects/project components.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Deploying Internet2 Grouper
- Assist with deploying existing IAM services into AWS
- Perform load and performance testing. Gather metrics and perform optimizations on the infrastructure.
- Design, test, implement and optimize Ansible playbooks.
- Train and provide documentation for the team.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with SAML, Kerberos, SSO, LDAP, Message Queue.
- Expertise with Container technology and orchestration.
- Experience with ABAC and RBAC Access Management Solutions
- Expertise with Ansible and establish a continuous deployment process.
- Experience with Java and Java Spring Framework
- Familiarity with PHP and Ruby
- Expertise in Tomcat, Apache HTTPD.
- Familiarity with AWS Products like Aurora, RDS, OpenSearch, Cognito, Fargate, EKS, ECR
- Expertise in AWS, GCP or Azure
- Familiarity with SDLC and products like Git and Jenkins.
- Experience working with High Availably and Highly Scalable environments.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
- Experience working on critical enterprise applications.
- Ability to adapt to changing and dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Support the collaborative team environment by partnering with other staff.
