Job Posting for Medical Records Asst - LSC at EVERGREENHEALTH
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing clerical support for the Electronic Medical Record system. Performs other clerical support job duties as needed.
Primary Duties:
Pre-loads a variety of refills, clinical test results, reports, medical histories and other applicable data into the patient charts via the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Manages appointment requests and incoming correspondence via EMR Messaging Tab.
Runs reports and inquires monthly, weekly, daily and as needed.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Must be efficient in 10-key and computer keyboard
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and precise manner to providers, co-workers, vendors, and the general public.
Must be able to travel between clinics
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications
Must be self-disciplined and able to work without direct supervision
