What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator position at EVERIDGE?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS :
- Design, manufacture, and cut wood goods
- Make cuts, alterations, and fixings using hand tools
- Used machinery and equipment
- MUST be able to read tape measure
- Set up, run, and maintain wood nailing devices
- Make wooden highlights and trim
- Make dies / Molds for castings
- Finish all phases of the carpentry process
- Work raw wood or foam
- Fix, handle, staple, layout and align wood products
- Make sure the wood isn’t split or swelled.
- Follow procedure and plans set out by lead. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the similar field
- Agility and attention to detail
- Mechanical ability and physical endurance
- Technical ability and physical prowess
- Tact and cautiousness with safety minded practice
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and plans is a plus
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
- Accurate measurements and computations are a must. PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Ability to do occasional heavy lifting
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices Job Type : Full-time Pay : $15.00 - $16.50 per hour Benefits :
